Whatever your commuting needs, Thornhill Park is perfectly positioned to get you there.

Flying interstate or overseas? Melbourne Airport in Tullamarine is just over half-an-hour away from Thornhill Park.

Whether you’re flying from Melbourne to Sydney on the Qantas red-eye, or from Melbourne to Bali with Jet Star, Melbourne Airport is your gateway for all your travel needs.

If trains are your preferred method of transport – you’ve got the luxury of choice living at Thornhill Park, perfectly situated between Melton Station and Rockbank Station.

Melton Station can take you to Southern Cross Station in 37 minutes via the Ballarat line. If you prefer to travel further afield, Mount Gambier, Ararat, Daylesford and Maryborough are also within reach.

Rockbank Station, also on the Ballarat line, passes through Caroline Springs, Deer Park, Ardeer, Sunshine and Footscray before reaching Southern Cross Station in Melbourne City. As part of the Ballarat Line Upgrade, Rockbank Station will be upgraded with the rebuilding of two new platforms.

A future Thornhill Park station is also proposed, providing Thornhill Park residents with direct access to another train station.

Thornhill Park’s location provides the added advantage of direct access to the M8 Western Freeway – the major arterial connecting the west to the city via the M80 and M1.

During 2015-2016, the City of Melton had the fourth fastest growth in Victoria. Accounting for future growth, the Melton City Council and State Government have plans for upgrades along the Western Freeway to help ease congestion from future population growth. More information can be found in the Paynes Road Precinct Structure Plan.
