Mother and fathers, the month of March is for you! From playtime to books to making the big steps into kindergarten – we have it covered. Here’s a handy list to stick on the fridge!

Interacting with your child from an early age is vital. Caroline Springs Library offers an entertaining, educational program that encourages parents to interact with their babies, aged 0-36 months. Fun for parents and baby with singing, rhymes, fingerplays, books and an introduction to AUSLAN, Australian sign language.

Parent Information Sessions – Melton Library and Learning Hub

Another fantastic resource for parents or caregivers provided by the Melton Library! Hear it from professionals including the Preschool Field Officer, what is kindergarten all about? Know what to expect, learn about the application process and listen to what a day in kindergarten is like. Your opportunity to ask questions about your child’s future before Kindergarten open week!

RPG Fridays
Now there’s a bit of fun for the older kids too. Ages 12+ take on the role of a character and interact within the game’s imaginary world. You will defeat enemies, solve puzzles, finish quests and perform heroic deeds one epic encounter at a time! No bookings required.
